Our 1881 Chapel

Our 1881 Chapel is the heart of Cranberry Creek. Inside you'll find the original wooden pews and restored woodwork with white-washed walls, modern washrooms and unlimited vintage charm. Originally a Baptist Church in St. Williams it was moved to the site in the 90’s and is now both heated and air-conditioned to ensure comfort all year round with a versatile interior configuration to suit theatre, banquet and cocktail style events. The original white clapboard exterior serves as a perfectly imperfect photo and ceremony backdrop. Seated meals inside of the chapel can accommodate up to 89 with plated meal service, or 77 with buffet meals, with a maximum capacity of 100 for cocktail receptions and 150 for ceremonies. This space is joined to our timber frame pavillion for a covered outdoor extension for your guests to enjoy our beautiful gardens no matter the weather. Looking to walkthrough the space? May to October: You can host any part of your event in the chapel, however if your meal occurs inside of the chapel your ceremony must be planned elsewhere onsite.

November to April: Following your ceremony, the rest of your event occurs inside of our chapel, with your ceremony happening in our barn (our outdoors if the weather cooperates!)
